Upon arrival at Blitz, park and get you group together. Make sure you have all filled out the online waivers and watched the video safety orientation as this will allow you to save 20 minutes at check in. At the front we will determine everything your group wants and needs, ask you questions to insure you watched the safety orientation and get you ready to play. Once ready you can join the public games (by far the most fun) or get into private game rotation on fields. You can then play as long as you like up until the posted closing time.
Public games are by far the most fun to be had. Any one can show up and join the well designed games. We have over 20 fun game we rotate thru with some of the most fun games played several times a day. You will also play on multiple field designs. when games get big we often will incorporate multiple large scenario fields in one game. like Castle vs Compound or Compound vs Urban. Public games last for 10-20 minutes per game and then we have a timer at the field entrance so the next game starts 15 minutes after the last game ended. This give you time to refresh and reload and talk about you last experience while preparing for the next. Big public games are running constantly thru the day, if there is a lot of players we increase the amount of area you play on so there is always plenty of targets without being overly packed you cant make moves. The referees give the game instructions before you take the field and do their best to make the teams even, for instance if a group of experienced players wants to play together and we do not have enough experienced players to balance, they often will get less players on their side to balance the game and give both teams equal opportunity. That said, if you are there in a party you can always keep you group together (unless you want to shoot each other)..lol. If you want lots of quality games and tons of paly time public is the best option!
Private games, are when you just want to play by yourselves. Mostly these are straight forward timed shoot each other out format games so they are much faster than public games, so we can often rotate many private games in such a way that wait times are reasonable. We have two fields designed for this and we will be operating groups on those play zones all day long in constant rotation. We also rotate private groups on main fields when not in operation. For example, say there is 12 private groups, 6 in the private group play zones and 6 rotating in the main fields when not in use (If a public game in on Military, we can run 2 private games at same time on Urban, and vice versa). That means you will play, then have to wait as we run 2 other groups before you are back up in the rotation. Six teams, we play 2 teams at a time, causes a 3 game rotation, so you are playing again after 2 games. this generally works out well, but if waits times grow, we highly recommend jumping in some public games as well.
No, that is like trying to reserve a ride at 6 flags just for you. You can keep you group private if you wish, meaning you only play with your group and rotate on and off whatever field you like with other private groups. you can also have your group play in the larger public games and go back and play private so you can get the whole experience.
We recommend long sleeve shirts, and jeans or work pants. Durable and comfortable shoes or boots, a baseball hat or beanie, and tight fitting gloves (like mechanic gloves). Pick clothes you don’t mind getting dirty like work clothes. Be careful not to dress to warm or overdress. Paintball is an energetic activity and overheating can be a concern.
No , all children must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please insure you download the waiver and sign in advance if you are not going to accompany your child.
This is a difficult question. We have seen players make it last 8 hours. We have also seen players shoot it all in 30 minutes. The answer is individual to the player, but in most cases 500 rounds should last 2.5 to 4 hours.
Blitz has over 11000 sq ft of Carports with tables and chairs or picnic tables.
Yes, at Blitz there are 7 play areas including massive zones 3 that can be played together with over 500 players! We constantly organize fun and different scenario style games.
Most paintballs, including the brand sold at the Blitz, are water soluble, non-staining, non-toxic and biodegradable. Your clothes will can be washed as they normally would to remove any paint color.
At Blitz you have to be at least 10 years old. All reputable paintball operations have a minimum age to play and 10 is a standard across the country.
Yes. First, all people who remain on the premises must sign a waiver. Then you may watch any field. All play zones are sourounded by 20 foot net and all can be viewed by spectators.. However, spectators are not allowed in actual play zones.
Yes, children under 10 can have a waiver by their parent or guardian and remain in the main staging area where they can view the tournament fields. They must be under the constant supervision of a parent or guardian. Yet, we do not recommend this. Young children could easily gain access to someone’s unattended equipment and become a danger to themselves and others.
Yes, although at a reasonable distance you hardly notice it. The closer you get the more it stings. Yet, it is so much fun no one seems to care and we have hundreds of players each week, including women and 10 year olds, who come back to do it again!
CO2 is a liquid that expands into a gas to power paintball markers. High pressure air is compressed air and must only be filled into a specialized high pressure tank and regulator.
statistically, paintball has a lower injury rate per participant than nearly all other “athletic” sports or activities. However there is an inherent risk. If you are uncomfortable we suggest you familiarize yourself with the facts about the sport and its risks, and decide whether paintball is right for you. Blitz Paintball gives players a safety briefing. We are very strict on enforcing the rules, and we have refs stationed throughout the play areas to help insure safe play. But be advised this does not eliminate the inherent risk.
All visitors and players must fill out a waiver. All players must watch our video safety orientation. Blitz has made this process as fast as possible by having you do this before you show up. When you go to fill out the online waiver, the video orientation describing how to play and your safety rules pops up. Please insure you watch this video in its entirety. If you speak Spanish please hit the google translate button. Insurance requires this and it is necessary so you know how to play safely. If you have not watched the orientation you will need to watch it at the facility and it will take you 20 minutes longer to check in. You don't want your group waiting to play because of you! Both the waiver and orientation can be done on site, but your check in is much faster if you have already done this online before you arrive. Make sure you inform everyone you invite to fill out waiver and watch the safety orientation. We ask you questions at the front desk that only someone who watched will no... so make sure!
